The core advantages of FRP cable car seats stem from the combination of material properties and structural design. In terms of materials, FRP is composed of glass fiber and resin composites. Compared with traditional metal seats, their weight is reduced by 30%-50%, which significantly reduces the load on the cable car drive system, lowers energy consumption, and improves operational stability. Their surface, treated with special processes, can withstand extreme temperature differences from -30℃ to 70℃, and has UV aging resistance and acid-alkali corrosion resistance, making them suitable for outdoor environments with high humidity and frequent wind and rain, with a service life of more than 10 years.

 

In structural design, the seats adopt a curved shape that fits the human back and buttocks, with the backrest angle set at 110°-120° and the seat cushion thickness reaching 5-8cm. Currently, these seats have been applied in cable car systems of more than 20 well-known scenic spots in China, with user feedback indicating that riding comfort has increased by over 40% and maintenance costs have decreased by 50%.
